SUPERMARKET OWNER CRIES OUT FOR HELP, CALLING ON THE STATE GOVERNOR OF RIVERS STATE, SECURITY AGENCIES AND LAWMAKERS TO COME TO HIS AID, OVER DEMOLITION OF HIS PROPERTY

A supermarket Owner in Port Harcourt the Rivers State capital has called on the State Governor Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and other well-meaning persons especially the Security Agencies to wade into his travails insisting that his property as well as his life is under threat. 

The young man who identified himself as Matthew Ekpobari a sister to Miss Blessing Ekpobari said in a tears ridden voice message to our correspondent said he rented a shop at number 19 Takoradi Street behind Radio Rivers in Port Harcourt township.

He said The caretaker said we should go ahead and do the renovation but we should not owe rent too long that the landlord don't have problem with an agreement that he will continue to renew the rent.  

With such assurances, he went to the Bank where he collected loans to renovate the place only for the owners of the place to inform him after spending millions to renovate that the place has been sold to a popular clergy based in the State.

Best he said at first he was tensed but the caretaker of the property continued assuring him that his rent will be renewed. 

Mr. Matthew said he was surprised that some persons came to the property and told him to pack because it has been purchased by another person.  

By Considering the investments he had put in place, he decided to take up the matter to court through his lawyer. 

He averred that the court posted a notice of stay of execution on the said property but suddenly out of nowhere, one Ezekiel you up on nowhere and tore the court notice claiming that no court can prevent him from destroying the property to make way for the owner to take over the property.

BEFORE VIEW:
He reported the matter to the police at the Central Police Station
 CPS who at first showed interest but has since fizzled out. 

He said the said Ezekiel has assured him that he will be coming to the property by Sunday 6th November to destroy the supermarket with items worth over 30 million naira. 

In a desperate bid to stop the destruction despite a subsisting court order and debts borrowed to put up the place, he is crying to the court of public opinion so they can draw the attention of those in power to come to his assistance.

Theses people are so powerful that they want to deal with me not minding the fact that the matter has not been resolved.
