International Youth Day Summit: IAWPA Commends Nigerian Police Under Egbetekun

The International Association of World Peace Advocates have commended the Nigeria Police Force over it's hosting the Nigeria Police Force Youth Summit which held in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory on Monday the 12th of August 2024. 

The International Spokesman of IAWPA Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke while reacting to the hosting of the event commended the Nigeria Police Force under the leadership of IGP Kayode Egbetekun stating that this summit which is the first of it's kind in the country is a positive response to the recent end bad governance protests. 


He said the event which had in attendance various stakeholders was a success which must be sustained and also replicated in the various geopolitical zones in the country. 

Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke also used the start to call on Nigerians to support the forthcoming International Day of Police Cooperation which the association will be hosting in collaboration with the INTERPOL unit of the Nigeria Police. 

He said the event which will be coming up on Thursday the 5th of September will be used to celebrate the success of the Nigeria Police as well as the launch of IAWPA School Peace Awareness Programme which is aimed at reducing cultism and other crimes in the school system.
