"Gospel Singer Timileyin Ajayi Has Been Charged With Morder"!

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arraigned gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi for the morder of Salome Adaidu.

Ajayi is accused of d!smember!ng Salome whom he claimed was his girlfriend, during her visit to his residence in the Papalana area of New Karshi within the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The 32-year-old suspect appeared in the Nasarawa State High Court in Lafia, the state capital, on Friday, January 17, 2025.

He faces one charge of Culpable Hom!cide, which can result in the death penalty under Section 221 of the Penal Code Law of Northern Nigeria.

The court has ordered that the suspect be remanded in a correctional facility in Lafia pending the scheduling of a formal arraignment.

Prior to her tragic demise, the 24-year-old victim was serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Nicon Insurance in Abuja.

Ajayi was arrested on Sunday, January 12, while trying to dispose of Salome's he@d after k!ll!ng her and d!smember!ng her body.
