KIAMBU COUNTY, Kenya – In a landmark recognition of service and statesmanship, His Excellency Governor Kimani Wamatangi has been decorated as an International Eminent Peace Ambassador by the International Association of World Peace Advocates, IAWPA.

The investiture ceremony, held in Kiambu County, was conferred through His Eminence P.Amb. Dr. Emmanuel Nkweke, World Peace Spokesman, in acknowledgment of Governor Wamatangi’s outstanding leadership and transformative development initiatives impacting millions of citizens.
IAWPA noted that the honour celebrates leaders whose policies advance peace, equity, infrastructure, and human dignity across borders. Governor Wamatangi’s record of impactful governance in Kiambu County stood out as a model of development-driven peacebuilding.
This global recognition places Governor Wamatangi among an elite league of world leaders committed to using public office to foster stability, inclusive growth, and sustainable communities in line with United Nations SDGs.
