BISHOP REV. CHUKWUKERE ORIKE
Bishop Rev. Chukwukere Orike's Address at House of Kings Assembly's 18th Annual Convention. On November 10th, 2024, Bishop Rev. Chukwukere Orike delivered a heartfelt address at House of Kings Assembly's 18th Annual Convention, themed "The Acceptable Time" (2Cor. 6:2).

Bishop Orike expressed deep gratitude to Amb. Dr. Emmanuel Nkweke for his selfless contributions to the community, particularly in providing palliatives to House of Kings Assembly members.

"Blessed is the one who gives," Bishop Orike emphasized, citing biblical wisdom (Acts 20:35). "Giving is vital in today's society. When we give, we give life to people. Lack of giving leads to poverty, crime, and suffering."

Bishop Orike listed numerous benefits of generosity, including:
1. Divine provisions from God
2. Divine protection from God
3. Security and development in the society
4. Enhanced education and skills acquisition
5. Reduction in crime and terrorism

Bishop Orike encouraged:
Individuals to cultivate a habit of giving
Government and NGOs to prioritize giving and support.
Clergymen and women to pray and guide youths away from cultism and terrorism.
Christians to pray for governments and communities.
Leaders to promote peace and development.

Bishop Orike stressed the importance of collective prayer for societal transformation. "When we pray together, we can change the course of events. Even those considered hopeless can change and surrender to God's love."

In his interview with ICC Newsmen in port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, Orike's says, Giving is essential for a better society.
Prayer and collective action can transform communities. Leaders must prioritize support and development. Unity and love are crucial for positive change.

Bishop Chukwukere Orike's speech praised Governor Siminayi Fubara, his selfless efforts in enhancing security and ensuring peace during the Local Government (LG) elections. The bishop commended the governor's commitment to maintaining law and order, allowing citizens and youths to live in harmony

It's worth noting that Governor Fubara has been in the news recently regarding his relationship with local government chairmen. One chairman, in particular, publicly referred to Fubara as a "foolish governor". However, this criticism hasn't deterred Fubara's focus on security and governance.

Bishop Orike's appreciation highlights the importance of collaborative efforts between religious leaders and government officials in promoting peace and development. By acknowledging Fubara's efforts, the bishop encourages continued cooperation and mutual support.

House of Kings Assembly is a vibrant, spirit-filled community dedicated to spreading God's love and empowering believers.
