ONNA, Akwa Ibom State - The House of Assembly member representing Onna State Constituency and Majority Leader of the Assembly, Hon. (Elder) Sunday Udofot Johnny, has flagged off a massive road grading in Onna.
The project, which involves the grading and opening of leeways, aims to improve the condition of roads in the area, making it easier for residents to commute and access essential services.
According to Hon. Johnny, the project will benefit several communities in Onna, including Ikot Iso, Udua Ekpo, Awa, Afaha Ubium, Edem Idim, and Ikot Akpan.
Specifically, the project will cover 10 roads, including Ikot Iso/Udua Ekpo Road, Awa Road by VKS, Afaha Ubium Road, Edem Idim Road, Methodist Road in Ikot Akpan, two roads in Ikot Abasi, Qua Iboe Church Road in Ukpana, Christ Army/Qua Iboe Ring Road in Ikot Ebidang, and Ikot Edop Road in Ndon Eyo.
Hon. Johnny explained that the project will not only improve the condition of roads but also enhance the safety and accessibility of the area, benefiting both residents and businesses.
He assured that the project will be completed in record time, adding that his commitment to improving Onna's infrastructure is unwavering.
