BREAKING: INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WORLD PEACE ADVOCATES HONORS NIGERIAN ACTIVIST ON NELSON MANDELA DAY

The International Association of World Peace Advocates, IAWPA, has appointed renowned Nigerian youth activist, His Eminence P. Amb. General Gabriel Asabuja, as an Eminent Peace Ambassador and Global Diplomat.

The appointment was announced in Rivers State during the global celebration of Nelson Mandela Day, July 18, 2026. According to IAWPA, the recognition is in honor of Ambassador Asabuja’s consistent commitment to the promotion of world peace, global security, community development, and youth empowerment.

Speaking at the event, the World Peace Spokesperson described Ambassador Asabuja as “one of the most peaceful fellows of our time” and urged him to sustain his efforts in promoting global peace, advancing communities, and creating job opportunities for young people.




In his acceptance remarks, P. Amb. Dr. G. Asabuja pledged to intensify efforts in promoting global peace, community engagement, job creation, and maintaining a peaceful society.

“Peace is the foundation for development. I will continue to serve humanity at my best,” he said.
