Happy 70th Birthday to you, my Mother, my Queen! You are not just a mother to me, you are a destiny connector. You always call me "My Son" with so much love, and you proved it when you connected me to your biological daughter in the USA and gave me her contact, saying "You can call her anytime." That singular act showed me the depth of your motherly heart. Mum, I can never forget how in your house in Lagos, you gave me shelter, took us around, bought us things, at Ikoyi Hotel and took us back home safely. That love is rare. You showed me true motherhood beyond words.
Mum, the world celebrates you because you deserve it. America gave you 5 Keys to American Cities, the world celebrates you globally, but to me, you are simply MAMA My Mama Diaspora.
On this your 70th birthday, I join millions around the world to celebrate a virtuous woman, a global icon, a mother of all. Mummy, you're an exceptional mother indeed. On this special day, I pray that Almighty God will continue to keep you in perfect health, strength and divine joy.
