IAWPA Eminent Peace Ambassador Loretta Enwezor's Dumelo Development Foundation Showers Love In Gishiri, FCT

Last December witnessed lots of philanthropic activities organized by members of the International Association Of World Peace Advocates who are Eminent Peace Ambassadors to identify with less privileged people in the society. 

These philanthropic activities are in line with their appointments as Peace Ambassadors and also keys into the vision of IAWPA in the area of sustainable development. 

One of such Eminent Peace Ambassadors who showed care for the less privileged is Amb. Loretta Enwezor who through her foundation Dumelo Development Foundation where she visited Gishiri area a suburb of the FCT and distributed gift items to some less privileged and elderly women within the area on Thursday 5th December 2024. 

Amb. Loretta Enwezor during the course of the activity, said she decided to give out the gift items which included wrappers, food and other items inorder to identify herself with the elderly women and other less privileged persons in the society. 

She said she felt motivated to do so which is also on line with her desire to see that some aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals particularly the area of 'no poverty' is promoted. 

Also speaking to our reporters, one of the recipients who identified herself as Mama Theresa said she and her family are so elated with the gesture considering that she had been praying to get something to wear during the yuletide period. She showered praises on Amb. Loretta Enwezor and her Dumelo Development Foundation team for their kind gesture to she, her family and the people of Gishiri area. 

In a related development, Amb. Nwokoma Messiah Director Media and Publicity IAWPA said the association will continue to promote noble efforts of members of the association which promotes the ideals of the association as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 

Amb. Nwokoma hailed the efforts of Eminent Peace Ambassadors who through their little efforts have continued to display kind gestures to the less privileged in the society while assuring them that the association through its media and Publicity directorate, will continue to promote such activities within various platforms of the United Nations.
