The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) through its International Spokesman Amb Emmanuel Nkweke has announced the appointment of Amb. Felicia Iwobi as Nigerian Country Rep of African Food Action Club, with its headquarters in South Africa.
The initiative of the club follows it's recent participation in the United Nations Food Systems Summit in Ethiopia, where IAWPA emphasized the importance of food security and sustainability in Africa.
The association said as part of its efforts to promote food security and sustainability across the continent, it has appointed Amb. Felicia as the Nigerian Country Representative of the African Food Action Club.
In this role, Amb. Iwobi will be responsible for positioning the club in Nigeria and participating in various events and programs that promote food security and sustainability.
The African Food Action Club aims to:
Promote food security and sustainability in Africa
Support initiatives that improve agricultural productivity and food distribution
Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders in the food sector
Advocate for policies and programs that benefit smallholder farmers and vulnerable communities.
IAWPA says it remains committed to promoting food security and sustainability in Africa.
