ABUJA, NIGERIA - A prominent peace maker, Chap. Brig. Gen. Amb. Dr. Comr. Isaac Christian C., has appealed to the Governors Forum to intervene in the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State, Nigeria.
In a statement made to journalists in Abuja, Isaac Christian C. expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Sir, Dr. Similaye Fubara, GSSR, for his wisdom and leadership.
He urged the Governors Forum to call the FCT Minister, Mr. Wike, to order and stop the political crisis in Rivers State, allowing the state to enjoy peace and utilize its resources.
Isaac Christian C. noted that during Governor Fubara's tenure, no one dared to disturb him, even when Wike invited Ibias to takeover Rivers State resources during 6months suspension of the seating governor. He emphasized that peace is priceless and warned that those who fail to listen to wise counsel will pay the price.
The peace maker called on Mr. President, the Chief of Armed Forces of Nigeria, to settle the crisis impartially and urged the Governors Forum to act swiftly to restore peace in Rivers State.
Amb. (Dr.) Comr. Isaac Christian C. stated, "Let no one disturb Governor Fubara's tenure. During Wike's tenure, no one disturbed him; now that he's FCT Minister, let him focus on his assignments given to him by Mr. President."
He further emphasized, "Time for calm and peace in Rivers State. Now it's time for the Governors Forum to write to Mr. President and petition Wike's actions in Rivers State."

Amb. Dr. Isaac Christian C. reiterated his gratitude to Governor Fubara, saying, "I want to sincerely thank our amiable Governor, His Excellency Sir, Dr. Similaye Fubara, GSSR, for his wisdom. I urge the Governors Forum and the entirely Senate to intervene and stop the political crisis in Rivers State. The FCT Minister, Mr. Wike, should leave the Rivers people to live in peace."
He concluded by calling on the Governors Forum to summon Wike and address this issue, and for the Chief of Armed Forces to settle the crisis impartially.
